23 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

25 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 6-20-2305(a)(2), concerning per-student
26 foundation funding amounts, is amended to read as follows:
27 (2)(A) For the 2021-2022 2023-2024 school year, the foundation
28 funding amount is equal to seven thousand one hundred eighty-two dollars
29 ($7,182) eight thousand one hundred ninety-five dollars ($8,195) multiplied
30 by the school district's average daily membership for the previous school
31 year.
32 (B) For the 2022-2023 2025-2026 school year and each
33 school year thereafter, the foundation funding amount is equal to seven
34 thousand four hundred thirteen dollars ($7,413) eight thousand three hundred
35 seventy dollars ($8,370) multiplied by the school district's average daily
36 membership for the previous school year.

3 NOR PUBLISHED SEPARATELY AS SPECIAL, LOCAL, AND TEMPORARY LAW. PUBLIC SCHOOL
4 DISTRICTS CLASSIFIED STAFF RATES OF PAY. Beginning with the 2023-2024 fiscal
5 year, the Department of Education shall advise all public school districts to
6 pay a minimum rate for all classified employees of fifteen dollars ($15.00)
7 per hour and shall revise this required rate every year thereafter to
8 increase based on the growth percentage of the Consumer Price Index as
9 described in Arkansas Code § 6-17-2203.
