The resolution honors retired U.S. Army Colonel Shawn Thomas Prickett for his exceptional leadership and dedication to supporting America's veterans through his volunteer work with the National Whitetail Warrior Project. Since becoming involved in 2012 and assuming the presidency in 2016, Colonel Prickett has organized 230 veteran hunts, providing transformative outdoor experiences that foster healing and camaraderie among disabled veterans. Under his leadership, the organization has served over 500 veterans and raised more than $500,000 to ensure these experiences are offered at no cost to participants.
