A native of Mobile, Captain Johnson began his career in public safety in 2006 as a patrol officer and has since held various significant roles, including motor officer and supervisor in the Traffic Safety Unit. He has been recognized with numerous awards for his dedication and professionalism, including the Distinguished Service Award and multiple Chief's Commendations. Additionally, he has advanced his education, holding two Bachelor’s degrees and a Master’s degree, and currently serves as a part-time faculty member at the University of South Alabama.
