The Alabama Legislature proudly recognizes the exceptional achievements of the Albertville High School Cheer Team, which recently won the 2026 National High School Cheerleading Championship in the Large Gameday Division on February 1, 2026. This victory not only earned the team a trophy, individual medals, and champion jackets but also followed their historic win of the Class 7A state championship in November 2025, marking the first sports title in the school's history. The team has consistently demonstrated excellence, having also secured multiple regional and championship titles throughout the season.
