Under existing law, the Permanent Joint Legislative Committee on the Law Enforcement Medal of Honor and Meritorious Service Award was created by joint resolution for the purpose of awarding the Law Enforcement Medal of Honor and Meritorious Service Award. This bill would continue the committee under general statutory law.
