Existing law provides that the current supplemental privilege assessment, secondary supplemental assessment, and surcharge that are imposed on each bed in a nursing facility expire on August 31, 2028. This bill would remove the sunset clause and make the current supplemental privilege assessment, secondary supplemental privilege assessment, and surcharge permanent.
