Under the Alabama G.I. and Dependents' Educational Benefit Act, educational benefits for up to the undergraduate course level are available to eligible children, spouses, and widows of deceased or disabled veterans, veterans who are listed as missing in action, and veterans who were prisoners of war while serving in the United States Armed Forces. This bill would expand these educational benefits to include graduate courses in a medical field. This bill would limit the tuition that may be charged. This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
