Under existing law, an application for an absentee ballot may only be delivered to the absentee election manager by the applicant. Also under existing law, an absentee ballot may only be delivered to the absentee election manager by the voter of the absentee ballot. This bill would allow a disabled voter to designate an individual to deliver to the absentee election manager the voter's application for an absentee ballot. This bill would define "disability." This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
