Under existing law, license applicants under 19 years of age are required to provide documentation of school enrollment status and disciplinary points for application for, or renewal of, a driver license or learner permit, and in the event of withdrawal from school, the student's driver license or learner permit shall be suspended by the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency. This bill would amend the law to remove all school enrollment and attendance requirements for the application for, and renewal of, driver licenses and learner permits
