The resolution congratulates the Montgomery Academy (MA) Varsity Boys Soccer Team for their historic achievement in winning the 2025 Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 7A Boys Soccer State Championship, marking the first championship title in the school's history. The team finished the season with an impressive record of 19-5-2 and achieved a remarkable victory over Oak Mountain High School, ending their 49-game winning streak with a score of 2-1. This victory was particularly notable as MaxPreps had predicted a zero chance of success for the Eagles against the top-ranked team in the country.

The resolution also recognizes the contributions of senior Cade Segars, who earned tournament MVP honors, and acknowledges the leadership of Head Coach Gui Mondaini and assistant coaches Gabriel Dias and Renan Diniz.
