The Alabama House of Representatives proudly recognizes the Pike Liberal Arts School Cheerleading Squad for their exceptional achievements, particularly their recent victory at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship held from February 7-10, 2025, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The squad secured their second National Championship in school history by finishing first in the Small Varsity Division II Gameday Division with an impressive score of 94.3 and no deductions, outperforming 62 other teams from across the nation. Additionally, they also claimed the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Cheerleading Championship in November 2024, showcasing their talent and dedication throughout the season.

The resolution highlights the hard work and commitment of the cheerleaders, led by Captain Sydney Scott and Co-Captain Allyn Wilson, along with their teammates and coaching staff, including Head Coach Katie Scott and assistant coaches Tara Morelock and Brittany Royal. Their achievements have brought immense pride to their families, classmates, teachers, and the entire community, who have supported and motivated the squad.
