Dr. Pollard has served as Vice President for Quality Assurance, Research and Faculty Development, and is the Founding Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. She holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Evaluation, Measurement, and Research Design, and has authored significant works, including "Raise a Leader, God's Way." Her leadership initiatives, such as the Oakwood University Leadership Academy and HealthyCampus2020, have significantly impacted the health and wellness of the university community.

In recognition of her dedication and service, Dr. Pollard received the President's Lifetime Achievement Award from former President Biden in 2022.
