Under existing law, households whose sole source of income is Social Security benefits are exempt from paying solid waste collection fees. This bill would add households whose sole source of income is veterans' benefits to those exempt from paying these fees. This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
