Under existing law, the term "sexual conduct" is defined. This bill would further provide for the definition of "sexual conduct." Under existing law, certain criminal obscenity laws do not apply to public libraries, public school libraries, college libraries, or university libraries, or the employees or agents of any such library. This bill would provide that these criminal obscenity laws do not apply to college or university libraries or their employees or agents, but do apply to public libraries, public school libraries, and their employees or agents in certain circumstances. This bill would also make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
