Graham L. Champion has been honored with the 2023 Outstanding Eagle Scout Award, a prestigious recognition presented by the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) to Eagle Scouts who have exemplified the ideals of the organization and made significant contributions to their communities. Champion's history with scouting dates back to his youth, having earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1966, and he has continued to serve in various leadership roles within the scouting community, including as President of the Tukabatchee Area Council since 2022.

In addition to his scouting achievements, Champion has had a successful professional career, including as the Principal of Public Strategies, LLC, and has been actively involved in numerous organizations such as the Montgomery Rotary Club, where he played a key role in honoring Tuskegee University's contributions to the development of the polio vaccine. The Alabama House of Representatives extends its congratulations to Champion for his impactful work with youth in scouting and his service to the community and state.
