Alice Pack, a nine-year-old musical prodigy from Hartford, Alabama, has been captivating audiences with her exceptional talent in both violin and piano. She began her musical journey at the age of three with the violin and started piano lessons with Mr. Andy Martin of Dothan at the age of five. Alice has won numerous awards for her piano skills, including first place at the Sonatina Festival for three years in a row and being named an Outstanding State Winner by the Alabama Music Teacher's Association in 2023.
In February, under the guidance of Miss Darrian Lee from Enterprise State Community College, Alice won first place in the Elementary Division of the Gulf Coast Steinway Society's Piano Competition. This victory earned her the honor of performing at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 19, 2024. Recognizing her extraordinary talent and dedication to music, the House of Representatives of the Alabama Legislature has resolved to honor and commend Alice Pack for her achievements and extend best wishes for her future endeavors.
