John Minter, RPh, is being recognized for his 50 years of professional achievements and contributions to Valley Pharmacy and the Greater Valley Area. After graduating from Auburn University in 1970, Minter worked at various independent pharmacies before purchasing and renaming Valley Pharmacy in 1974. He operated the business until 2012, when he sold it to his understudy Angie Moore, RPh, and her husband, Craig Moore. Minter continues to work as a Staff Pharmacist, maintaining his commitment to the community's health and well-being. Throughout his career, he has adapted to changes in pharmacy practice, such as the introduction of computers and insurance drug cards, while consistently demonstrating his dedication to his customers.
The resolution honors John Minter's integrity, expertise, and the trust he has earned from colleagues and the community. It acknowledges the support of his late wife, Martha Minter, and their family, including their children and grandchildren. The Alabama House of Representatives commends Minter for his service and dedicates the resolution to him, expressing gratitude and admiration for his work.
