Dr. Sellers-Simon also contributed to academia through teaching, publications, and presentations, and she was involved in global seminars and leadership programs.
The resolution also highlights Dr. Sellers-Simon's community involvement, including her membership in the NAACP, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and The Links, Incorporated. She was known for her love of travel, reading, and adventurous activities. Dr. Sellers-Simon was a dedicated alumna of Tuskegee University's Class of 1974 and was actively involved in planning their 50th reunion.
