The resolution proudly recognizes and congratulates the Creekside Academy Homeschool Cooperative Robotics Team, known as Creekside Technology, for their remarkable achievement in winning the 2023 BEST Robotics National Championship. This accomplishment places them among an elite group of competitors globally, highlighting the dedication and talent of the team, which consists of 27 students from grades 6-12, with a focus on both marketing and engineering. The team is composed of students from 36 families in Lauderdale and Colbert counties in Northwest Alabama.

The resolution also honors the dedicated coaches, Danny and Carol Scheele, along with team mentor Colin Scheele, an Academy graduate. It expresses warm admiration for the team members and extends best wishes for their continued success in future endeavors. The House of Representatives of the Legislature of Alabama formally commends the Creekside Technology team for their outstanding achievement and contributions to robotics education.
