The resolution expresses profound sorrow over the passing of Roselynne Marie Logan, who died on February 4, 2024, at the age of 29. Born on March 7, 1994, in Birmingham, Alabama, Roselynne was a cherished member of her family and community in Hueytown. She was known for her vibrant spirit, kindness, and musical talents, having played the piano and trumpet in her high school marching band and served as a Sunday School pianist. Roselynne was also actively involved in various sports and organized the first Black History Program at Hueytown High School.

After graduating in 2012, Roselynne pursued a career in healthcare, working as a traveling certified nursing assistant and aspiring to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist while studying at Auburn University at Montgomery. She was recognized on The Dean's List in the School of Nursing. Roselynne enjoyed spending her free time with family, cooking, crocheting, and watching Alabama Crimson Tide football. The resolution honors her memory and extends heartfelt sympathy to her family, friends, and all who were touched by her life.
