The resolution honors Kayden Slay, a senior at Tallassee High School, for his remarkable achievement as the 2023 Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 5A High Jump State Champion. In addition to winning the high jump, Kayden excelled at the AHSAA Class 5A Section 2 Track Meet, where he also claimed victories in the triple jump, long jump, and 110-meter hurdles.
