This bill would create the Alabama Assisted Living Board of Mitigation to resolve disputes between licensed assisted living facilities or specialty care assisted living facilities and the Alabama Department of Public Health. This bill would provide for the membership of the board and would authorize the board to hold hearings and compel testimony. This bill would also provide that any recommendations of the board would be nonbinding but must be taken into consideration by the department.
