Under existing law, emergency medical services providers (EMSP) may purchase distinctive motor vehicle license plates for their personally owned vehicles to allow for their identification as an EMSP. This bill would provide for the distribution of proceeds from the sales of distinctive motor vehicle license plates to emergency medical services providers.
