8 SYNOPSIS: This bill would provide an exemption from
9 certain vaccination requirements if the
10 administration of a vaccine conflicts with a
11 recipient's sincerely held religious, personal, or
12 philosophical beliefs.

16 AN ACT

18 Relating to vaccines; to provide an exemption from
19 vaccination requirements under certain circumstances.
20 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
21 Section 1. For any vaccination that was approved for
22 use after January 1, 2021, no individual shall be required to
23 receive a vaccination if the administration of the vaccine
24 conflicts with the individual's sincerely held religious,
25 personal, or philosophical beliefs.

2 immediately following its passage and approval by the
3 Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
