8 SYNOPSIS: This bill makes a supplemental appropriation
9 from the Education Trust Fund to the Alabama
10 Institute for Deaf and Blind, Board of Trustees in
11 the amount of $3,500,000 for the fiscal year ending
12 September 30, 2021; makes a supplemental
13 appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to the
14 Educational Television Commission in the amount of
15 $5,500,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30,
16 2021; makes a supplemental appropriation from the
17 Education Trust Fund to the Marine Environmental
18 Sciences Consortium in the amount of $2,000,000 for
19 the fiscal year ending September 30, 2021; makes a
20 supplemental appropriation from the Education Trust
21 Fund to Tuskegee University in the amount of
22 $1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30,
23 2021; makes a supplemental appropriation from the
24 Education Trust Fund to Athens State University in
25 the amount of $880,000 for the fiscal year ending
26 September 30, 2021; and makes a supplemental

9 To make a supplemental appropriation from the
10 Education Trust Fund to the Alabama Institute for Deaf and
11 Blind, Board of Trustees in the amount of $3,500,000 for the
12 fiscal year ending September 30, 2021; to make a supplemental
13 appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to the Educational
14 Television Commission in the amount of $5,500,000 for the
15 fiscal year ending September 30, 2021; to make a supplemental
16 appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to the Marine
17 Environmental Sciences Consortium in the amount of $2,000,000
18 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2021; to make a
19 supplemental appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to
20 Tuskegee University in the amount of $1,000,000 for the fiscal
21 year ending September 30, 2021; to make a supplemental
22 appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to Athens State
23 University in the amount of $880,000 for the fiscal year
24 ending September 30, 2021; and to make a supplemental
25 appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to the University
26 of West Alabama in the amount of $592,300 for the fiscal year
27 ending September 30, 2021.

1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
2 Section 1. In addition to all other appropriations
3 heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
4 $3,500,000 from the Education Trust Fund to the Alabama
5 Institute for Deaf and Blind, Board of Trustees for the fiscal
6 year ending September 30, 2021. Of this appropriation,
7 $1,000,000 shall be expended for demolition and an
8 environmental study of ANG Decatur Property; and $2,500,000
9 shall be expended for the Independent Living Center at AIDB
10 Talladega.
11 Section 2. In addition to all other appropriations
12 heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
13 $5,500,000 from the Education Trust Fund to the Educational
14 Television Commission for the fiscal year ending September 30,
15 2021 for nonrecurring expenditures, including but not limited
16 to transmitters and fiber optic network.
17 Section 3. In addition to all other appropriations
18 heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
19 $2,000,000 from the Education Trust Fund to the Marine
20 Environmental Sciences Consortium for the fiscal year ending
21 September 30, 2021 to assist with recovery efforts from damage
22 caused by Hurricane Sally.
23 Section 4. In addition to all other appropriations
24 heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
25 $1,000,000 from the Education Trust Fund to Tuskegee
26 University for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2021 for
27 Armstrong Hall Laboratory improvements.

1 Section 5. In addition to all other appropriations
2 heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
3 $880,000 from the Education Trust Fund to Athens State
4 University, Board of Trustees for the fiscal year ending
5 September 30, 2021 for one-time costs of HyFlex classrooms.
6 Section 6. In addition to all other appropriations
7 heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
8 $592,300 from the Education Trust Fund to the University of
9 West Alabama, Board of Trustees for the fiscal year ending
10 September 30, 2021 for a campus wide security system.
11 Section 7. This act shall become effective
12 immediately upon its passage and approval by the Governor, or
13 upon its otherwise becoming law.
