3 To alter, rearrange, and extend the boundary lines
4 and corporate limits of the City of Demopolis in Marengo
5 County.
6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
7 Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits
8 of the City of Demopolis in Marengo County are altered,
9 rearranged, and extended to include within the corporate
10 limits of the city in addition to the lands now included, all
11 of the following territory:
12 Parcel 1
13 A tract or parcel of land lying and being situated
14 in the Southwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 17 North,
15 Range 1 East, Marengo County, Alabama, commencing at the
16 Southwest corner of Section 1, Township 17 North, Range 1
17 East; thence North 89 degrees 04 minutes 49 seconds West
18 420.00 feet to an existing iron pipe marking the Western
19 boundary of the Demopolis Municipal Airport property, thence
20 North 00 degrees 44 minutes 11 seconds East 417.48 feet to an
21 existing iron pipe; thence South 89 degrees 20 minutes 27
22 seconds East 328.33 feet to an existing iron pipe; thence
23 North 45 degrees 27 minutes 22 seconds East 641.20 feet to an
