2 ENROLLED, House Joint Resolution,
3 COMMENDING THE BRIARWOOD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL BOYS
4 TENNIS TEAM ON WINNING ITS THIRD CONSECUTIVE STATE TITLE.

6 WHEREAS, highest commendations are herein proudly
7 presented to the Briarwood Christian School Boys Tennis Team,
8 the Lions, for winning its third consecutive state title; and
9 WHEREAS, through hard work, diligence, and an
10 unwavering commitment to excellence, the Lions earned their
11 third consecutive state championship title in the Class 6A
12 State Tournament at the Mobile Tennis Center; the team
13 dominated the competition by securing an impressive 84 points
14 in the tournament, as well as winning all six singles brackets
15 and all three doubles brackets; and
16 WHEREAS, expert guidance and leadership were
17 provided by Coach Jeremy Mears; and
18 WHEREAS, the talented and hardworking members of the
19 Briarwood Christian School Boys Tennis Team are one-of-a-kind
20 athletes whose determination, heart, and effort inspire
21 countless others in their community and beyond; now therefore,
22 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
23 HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That the Briarwood Christian School
24 Boys Tennis Team is commended, and this resolution is offered
