A RESOLUTION
1 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State
2 Legislature, concerning Senate Bill No. 89, relating to tobacco, tobacco products,
3 electronic smoking products, nicotine, and products containing nicotine; raising the
4 minimum age to purchase, exchange, or possess tobacco, a product containing nicotine,
5 or an electronic smoking product; relating to the tobacco use education and cessation
6 fund; and relating to the taxation of electronic smoking products and vapor products.
7 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:
8 That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of
9 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding
10 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of Senate Bill No. 89, relating to
11 tobacco, tobacco products, electronic smoking products, nicotine, and products containing
12 nicotine; raising the minimum age to purchase, exchange, or possess tobacco, a product
13 containing nicotine, or an electronic smoking product; relating to the tobacco use education
14 and cessation fund; and relating to the taxation of electronic smoking products and vapor
