FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB253
2024 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill provides that refrigerants designated as acceptable for use under 42 United States Code (U.S.C.) 7671k may be
used in the state if the equipment containing the refrigerant is listed and installed in accordance with the life safety
standards. This bill is not anticipated to have a fiscal impact on the Department of Public Safety Division of Fire and Life
Safety, and a zero fiscal note is being submitted.
