FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB 124
2023 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill removes the requirement for a driver to hold a driver’s license for at least one year or meet the experience
qualifications established by the department prior to being able to apply for a commercial driver’s license. The Division of
Motor Vehicles does not foresee any fiscal impact with the passing of this bill and therefore submits a zero fiscal note.
