A RESOLUTION
1 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State
2 Legislature, concerning House Bill No. 157, requiring the disclosure of the identity of
3 certain persons, groups, and nongroup entities that expend money in support of or in
4 opposition to an application filed for a state referendum or recall election; relating to the
5 location of offices for the Alaska Public Offices Commission and the locations at which
6 certain statements and reports filed with the commission are made available; relating to
7 the duties of the Alaska Public Offices Commission; clarifying the limits on making,
8 accepting, and reporting certain cash campaign contributions; relating to campaign
9 finance reporting by certain groups; increasing the time the Alaska Public Offices
10 Commission has to respond to a request for an advisory opinion; repealing a reporting
11 requirement for certain contributions; and relating to contribution limits and recall
12 campaigns.
13 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:

1 That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of
2 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding
3 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House Bill No. 157, requiring
4 the disclosure of the identity of certain persons, groups, and nongroup entities that expend
5 money in support of or in opposition to an application filed for a state referendum or recall
6 election; relating to the location of offices for the Alaska Public Offices Commission and the
7 locations at which certain statements and reports filed with the commission are made
8 available; relating to the duties of the Alaska Public Offices Commission; clarifying the limits
