FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. SB191
2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
Senate Bill 191 repeals certain provisions of the extension of the Governor's January 15, 2021 declaration of a public
health disaster emergency in response to the COVID19 pandemic.
The disaster declaration enables the State of Alaska to recieve federal financial assistance to address pandemic related
matters and allows the State to effectively respond to changing circumstances regarding the spread of COVID19. It is not
feasible to forecast the fiscal implications of repealing these provisions of the Governor's disaster declaration and,
therefore, the Office of Management and Budget submits an indeterminate fiscal note.
