 2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
 Analysis
    HB 227 adds the word resilience to the municipal energy improvement assessment programs, naming them the
    municipal energy and resilience improvement assessment programs". It allows a municipality to establish an energy
    improvement assessment program under AS 29.55.100  AS 29.55.165 to include building resilience improvements.
    Additionally, HB 227 broadens the costs a municipality can finance and the costs that can be repaid for an energy or
    resilience improvement assessment.
    The Division of Community and Regional Affairs does not anticipate a fiscal impact from this legislation.
