FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. HB133
2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
The legislation would have zero impact on University of Alaska (UA) operations.
The legislation is related to the Alaska savings program for eligible individuals; related to the education savings
programs; related to the Education Trust of Alaska; related to the Alaska advance college tuition savings fund;
relating to the Alaska education savings program for children; and related to the Governor's Council on Disabilities
and Special Education.
According to the legislation, an education savings plan for eligible children shall be maintained under As 14.40. 802-
14.40.817 and the state shall continue to encourage investment for the education for those children. UA
encourages investment, but foresees a zero fiscal note at this time.
