FISCAL NOTE ANALYSIS
STATE OF ALASKA BILL NO. SB 7
2022 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This bill amends AS 44.41.020, powers and duties of the department, by adding a new subsection to require that the
Department of Public Safety (DPS) publish on its website the department's current policies and procedures related to the
conduct of peace officers employed or regulated by the department.
Passage of this bill would have no fiscal impact to DPS, as the department already publishes its policies and procedures on
its website. Therefore, a zero fiscal note is being submitted.
