2019 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
This proposal adds a new section (.385) to Alaska Statute 35.40 to officially name bridge number 506 over the Tok River at
milepost 1309 of the Alaska Highway as the Scott Johnson Memorial Bridge.
Federal funding and state match has been identified as part of the Alaska Highway MP 1309 Tok River Bridge Replacement
project. Costs related to the material and construction of the 5' x 18" signs, one on each side of the bridge, were included
in the scope of the project.
The new Scott Johnson Memorial Bridge sign is estimated to be in place on or before October 1, 2019.
