2018 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Analysis
HB403 updates the current Alaska Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association under AS 21.79 to comply with National
Association of Insurance Commissioners model law updates. The only substantive change is inclusion of hospital or
medical service corporations as defined in AS 21.87.
The Division of Insurance does not anticipate fiscal impact from this legislation.
